Story Time: Bill Gates

Bill Gates is one of the world’s richest men.
He built his fortune by growing one of the largest companies on the planet.
Microsoft.
People like to talk about talent, intelligence, or luck.
But if you study the people who actually move the world, you’ll find something else behind the curtain: obsession.
Not the unhealthy kind.
The focused kind.
The kind where the thing you’re building sits so deeply in your mind that everything starts to orbit around it.
Bill Gates was so locked in that he once threw the radio out of his car.
Not because he hated music.
But because, during the 10-minute drive to work, he didn’t want even a moment of distraction from Microsoft.
That’s the level of commitment that builds empires.
And no, you don’t need to toss your radio or cut out every comfort in your life.
But you do need something you care about enough to prioritize it over the noise.
Obsession creates progress.
Progress creates identity.
Identity creates momentum.
If you want to change your life, don’t look for motivation.
Look for something you’re willing to think about on the drive, in the shower, and while you wait in line.
That’s where greatness starts.
