Right Now Reframe

“Women in Africa collectively spend two hundred million hours a day collecting water.” (Vaynerchuk, Twelve and a Half, p. 5)
I don’t say this to make you feel guilty. I say this to make you feel grateful.
Gratitude is the key to becoming productive.
Here’s some stupid examples I’ve come up with:
Gratitude for your fingers makes typing up the paper you’ve been putting off much easier.
Gratitude for your feet makes running a bit less dreadful.
Gratitude for the ones you love makes you appreciate the time you have with them.
This is why gratitude has been all the rave in the self-improvement community for the past few years.
Counting your blessings is one of the proven ways to improve mental health.
Productivity is a byproduct of a healthy mind.
This weeks reframe:
“What I do with what I am given is more important than what I am given.”
Now read that again.
Tool of the Week

Micro learning has cured my social media addiction.
If you’ve never heard of this app, allow me to put you onto it.
Deepstash is a micro-learning platform that allows users to contribute key points of books, articles, videos, podcasts, you name it.
You get recommended real knowledge of things you’re actually interested in.
It’s incredible.
Here’s my advice for using Deepstash as your escape from social media:
Step 1: Delete all social media.
Step 2: Get Deepstash and add 10 books to your “read later”.
Step 3: When you get those urges to doomscroll, open up Deepstash and learn instead.
